Flake Away:

My friend Hannah recently recommended me Soap & Glory's "Flake Away" body polish. I wanted a thick, oily scrub to really exfoliate the skin and she told me this one does the job. I think she primarily uses this to remove fake tan - which it apparently does very well, but don't ask me as I 'embrace my paleness'. (Read: way too lazy to even attempt the upkeep involved with fake tan!)

Anyway, so far I reallyyy love it! I bought it when it was on promotion, but I believe it retails for around £6 usually for 300g. A little goes a long way so it's great value in my opinion. Obviously it comes in S&G's signature cute, pink packaging which I admit is one of the reasons I love this brand so much ;) It claims to 'transform scaly legs from reptilian to radiant', and although my legs arnt quite 'reptilian' (thankfully!) it really does what it claims to :)

It smells amazing. It's the usual pink scent but with richer, almost cocoa-like tones. As you can see from the picture above it's very thick and grainy. I rub in circular motions all over, leave for a while then rinse off. My skin is left smooth and soft, with a slight 'oily-residue' that absorbs fairly quickly which I find leaves me adaquately moisturised without needing any other products. Perfect!
I will definately continue to use this whenever I feel I need a really rich exfoliator and when I eventually run out I shall repurchase! Try it :)

And todays NOTD: 1 coat of George @ ASDA's 'Streamer'. I havn't used this in a while and it's gone super gloopy and hard to work with so I think this is going in the bin soon. Love the colour though :)

Speaking of gloopy polishes, I can't be bothered with Seche Vite 'Dry Fast' anymore, I'm going through them too quickly as it goes really thick and I have to throw them out with about 1/3 remaining. I have tried adding Seches 'Restore' thinner but it doesn't help much so... Anyone tried Posche's version? x

  4. - Patricia: I add enough, it works okay for that application but when I go to use it again the next time it's back to SUPER thick again. I don't mind, I'll just try another :)

    - VampiressDoll: Well, at least it's not just mine then!

    - Nicole: Yes, you should - it's really great :D
